China is the biggest buyer of white sugar in the world. China releases about 3,000,000 MT of sugar quota every year. According to the latest data from Chinese Customs, China has bought 2.55 million MT from Jan to Sept, 2022. And, the quantity has a sharp increase since August. Obviously, the price is going up.
